Second Batch of Testers added to the Register

Another five testers have been added to the register.

Dermot Blunnie holds a BEng (Hons) in Sound Engineering and an MSc in Applied Acoustics. He is a corporate member of the Institute of Acoustics and has completed the IOA Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control. He is experienced in architectural acoustics and has undertaken numerous sound insulation tests for residential, commercial and educational developments. He successfully completed the Certificate of Competence in Irish Building Acoustics Measurement course (CCIBAM) in 2015 as a route to registration on the SITRI database.

Chris Dilworth is a European and Chartered Engineer with a BEng in Electroacoustics from the Department of Applied Acoustics at the University of Salford. He is a corporate member of Engineers Ireland and the Institute of Acoustics with over thirty years' experience in the field of acoustics; he has been a consultant since 1989. He was a member of the Part E Working Group.

Jennifer Harmon holds a BSc in Environmental Science and the IOA Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control. She has worked in the field of acoustic consultancy for over 15 years and is a member of the Institute of Acoustics. Jennifer has considerable experience in sound insulation testing for a wide range of development types including residential developments, offices, schools and hotels.

James Mangan has been working in the field of Acoustics since 2001, is a corporate member of the Institute of Acoustics and has completed the IOA Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control. He has extensive knowledge in all aspects of building acoustic assessments, Part E of the Building Regulations and associated sound insulation testing.

Leo Williams has a BA in Mathematics, and a BAI/Masters in Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering. He has been an acoustic consultant since 2014 and is currently studying for the IOA Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control. He took the training route to registration with SITRI and completed the Certificate of Competence in Irish Building Acoustics Measurement (CCIBAM) in 2015.
